๐ŸŽ‰ 100 Episodes of Laughs, Learning & Lifting: A Look Back at Our Podcast Journey

October 16, 2024

We made it. 100 episodes. (Okay, technically a little more if you count the blooper reels, but who’s counting?) This milestone gave us a reason to celebrate, reminisce, and, of course, laugh until we cried. From awkward bloopers to epic fitness fails, here’s a highlight reel of how far we’ve come.

๐Ÿฅ‚ From Pancakes to Power Flapjacks: Celebrating Episode #100

Cue the champagne (carefully — no sticky shag rugs, please). We've been podcasting for four full seasons with 25 episodes each — plus a few extras — and while not every episode was “technically” counted, we’re calling this our 100th. Because if you’re still showing up after all this time? That’s worth toasting.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ How It Started vs. How It's Going

In the beginning, we were just two friends with phones taped together by painter's tape, recording in a conference room that may or may not be haunted (more on that later). Today, we’ve got:

  • A cozy studio with velvet chairs and a shag rug
  • Branded wine tumblers and wall art
  • Alan, our official producer (and honorary therapist)

Talk about a glow-up.

๐Ÿง  Our Funniest Podcast Moments (That Still Make Us Cry-Laugh)

Let’s be honest — some of our best content wasn’t planned. Like when we tried to discuss “power flapjacks” and accidentally turned it into a conversation about questionable pancake sizes. Or when one of us mispronounced “analgesic” (pain reliever) and… well, you had to be there.

Seriously. Tears. Of. Laughter.

๐ŸŽง Fan-Favorite Clip: Four-Inch Power Flapjacks

"14 grams of protein per four-inch… flapjack. Depends on who you’re asking."๏ปฟ๏ปฟ
Cue laughter. Collapse on the floor. We’ve never recovered.

๐Ÿคฆ‍โ™€๏ธ Another Classic: Analge—what?

Let’s just say, spelling words out loud mid-recording is risky. Especially when you start with “A-N-A-L...”

๐Ÿ’ช Fitness, Failures, and Firsts

What started as a health-focused podcast quickly turned into something more:

  • Season 1: Couch to 5K. Step counting. Sleeping. Staying hydrated.
  • Season 2: Our first guests (and some rogue champagne).
  • Season 3: The “Barefoot vs. Crocs” debate. Our one-year anniversary.
  • Season 4: Discussions on portion control, picky eaters, and time management.

And yes — we even launched a book!

๐Ÿ“š Sarah’s “Healthy Habits” Book: Now in Hardcover!

Sarah’s Healthy Habits Challenge — originally a digital download — is now officially in print. It's a 10-week guide to building sustainable health habits with:

  • Weekly checklists
  • Simple goals like “drink more water” or “sleep 7+ hours”
  • A journal section for tracking progress

Perfect for those who want structure but also love tacos. (We see you.)

๐Ÿ‘ป Haunted Conference Rooms and Heartfelt Connections

Fun fact: Our OG podcast space used to be a nursing home. Wide hallways. Eerie noises. Flickering lights. We've definitely heard voices — and no, not just our own recorded ones. But the ghost stories only added to the charm.

More than anything, though, what’s kept us going through 100 episodes is the connection. Between us. With you. And with every guest who’s shared their story along the way.

๐Ÿ‹๏ธ‍โ™€๏ธ Our Most Downloaded Episodes (Surprise Hits!)

  • ๐ŸŽต Workout Music That Pumps You Up – Our top downloaded episode. Who knew?
  • ๐Ÿงผ Gym Etiquette 101 – Because people need to know: wipe your equipment.
  • ๐Ÿฆถ Team Barefoot vs. Team Shoes – We’re still arguing about this.

๐ŸŒฎ Nachos, Champagne & What’s Next

Tacos for dinner, champagne for the milestone, and big dreams ahead. We're even talking about launching a podcast network (Big Sack Productions, if you know you know) and maybe going on tour. Someday.

๐Ÿ™ Thank You for 100 Episodes

To the listeners who've stuck with us since day one — and to the new ones just finding us now — thank you. Whether we’re debating macros or mispronouncing science words, we’re glad you’re here.

Here’s to 100 more episodes, a little more fitness, a lot more fun, and always, always… tacos. What was your favorite episode or moment from the show so far? Drop a comment or tag us on socials — we’d love to hear from you!
